AnimateUIX Brand Identity Design Case Study

AnimateUIX is a Bangladesh-based motion design studio specializing in lightweight Lottie animations for websites, mobile applications, presentations, digital advertising, and interactive interfaces.

Marketorr developed a typography-led visual identity that connects the AnimateUIX name with the technical language of digital animation. The identity combines a custom wordmark, a concealed keyframe symbol, Clash Grotesk typography, flexible colour treatments, branded collateral, and environmental applications. The Marketorr project record identifies the work as a brand-design project completed on February 23, 2023.

Project Overview

AnimateUIX needed an identity that could represent both creative motion design and technical interface animation.

The company produces logo animations, animated icons, hero animations, stickers, advertisements, characters, emojis, illustrations, preloaders, data visualizations, and other custom motion assets. Its visual identity therefore needed to communicate movement without depending on generic play buttons, film strips, or video-camera symbols.

Marketorr developed a wordmark that places an animation reference directly inside the company name.

The Brand Design Challenge

Animation studios operate between creative design and technical production. An identity that feels too playful may weaken professional credibility, while an overly technical identity may fail to represent the studio’s creative capabilities.

The AnimateUIX identity needed to:

  • Represent animation through a recognizable visual detail
  • Connect the logo directly with the company name
  • Communicate creative and technical expertise
  • Remain clear when displayed as a static logo
  • Work across websites, applications, presentations, and social media
  • Retain legibility at small digital sizes
  • Support light, dark, and high-contrast colour combinations
  • Adapt to printed materials and physical signage
  • Provide a consistent typography system for future communication
  • Distinguish the studio from general video-production companies

Our Brand Design Strategy

Marketorr built the identity around a custom typographic wordmark.

The word “AnimateUIX” remains fully readable, while a diamond-shaped linear keyframe marker is integrated into the lowercase “i.” Keyframes are used in animation software to define changes in position, scale, rotation, opacity, and other properties over time.

This detail gives the logo a direct connection with the company’s service without adding a separate decorative symbol.

The identity also uses colour to distinguish “UIX” from “Animate.” This creates visual contrast within the name and supports the company’s focus on animation for user interfaces and digital experiences.

What Marketorr Delivered

Custom AnimateUIX Wordmark

The primary logo is a custom wordmark built from the complete AnimateUIX name.

Using the full name supports recognition among clients who may encounter the company through its website, portfolio, proposal, social profile, animation file, or presentation. The wordmark does not require a separate icon and company name to be placed together.

Its horizontal structure is suitable for:

  • Website navigation
  • Presentation covers
  • Video end screens
  • Animation previews
  • Social-media graphics
  • Email signatures
  • Digital proposals
  • Business cards
  • Office signage
  • Branded documents

The logo remains simple enough to appear alongside animated work without competing with the motion content.

Hidden Linear-Keyframe Symbol

The defining detail of the identity appears within the lowercase “i.”

Marketorr transformed the dot into a diamond-shaped keyframe marker. This shape is familiar within motion-design and animation software, where it represents a defined point within an animation timeline.

The symbol connects the logo with:

  • Motion design
  • Timeline-based animation
  • Digital keyframes
  • Interface movement
  • Lottie production
  • Animation software
  • Technical motion workflows

This creates an industry-specific idea inside the typography rather than attaching an unrelated icon to the wordmark.

Animation Meaning in a Static Logo

A brand identity must remain recognizable even when it is not moving.

Marketorr addressed this requirement by representing animation through the keyframe symbol. The static wordmark carries a visual element taken from the animation process, allowing the logo to communicate the company’s field on printed materials, documents, browser interfaces, and physical signs.

The concept also creates opportunities for motion applications. The keyframe marker, letters, and colour transition can be animated for logo reveals, website loaders, video intros, and social content while retaining the static identity as the final frame.

Clear Name Structure

The wordmark visually separates “Animate” and “UIX” through contrasting colour.

This treatment improves the readability of the combined name and gives the final three letters greater emphasis. Depending on the background, “UIX” appears in yellow or cyan while the rest of the name remains white or another contrasting colour.

The structure helps preserve the complete business name while giving the technology-related portion a distinct visual role.

Clash Grotesk Typography System

Marketorr selected Clash Grotesk as the primary brand typeface.

Clash Grotesk is a contemporary sans-serif family with clear geometric forms and sufficient variation for headings, subheadings, body text, labels, and numerical information.

The identity presentation defines three primary typographic levels:

  • Headline: Clash Grotesk Semibold, 45 pt
  • Subheading: Clash Grotesk Medium, 20 pt
  • Body text: Clash Grotesk Regular, 16 pt

This hierarchy gives AnimateUIX a repeatable system for website content, proposals, presentations, social graphics, service documents, and campaign materials.

Digital-First Typography

AnimateUIX primarily communicates through screens. The type system therefore needed to remain clear within websites, applications, presentations, and animation previews.

Clash Grotesk provides strong headline visibility while keeping supporting text readable. Its simple letterforms also complement the custom wordmark without introducing an unrelated typographic personality.

The different weights allow the brand to establish hierarchy without depending entirely on colour or decorative graphics.

Flexible Colour Treatments

The portfolio demonstrates the identity through several high-contrast combinations.

These include:

  • White and yellow on dark navy
  • White and cyan on black
  • Yellow and white on bright blue
  • White and yellow on orange
  • Dark navy and white on orange
  • Illuminated white lettering on dark signage

These variations allow the wordmark to respond to different creative environments while preserving its structure and keyframe detail.

The system is particularly useful for an animation studio whose work may appear against changing illustrations, video frames, interface backgrounds, and campaign colours.

Light and Dark Background Compatibility

The wordmark was prepared for both light and dark surfaces.

White lettering provides visibility against black, navy, and image-based backgrounds. Darker treatments support bright or light materials. Yellow and cyan accents maintain the internal distinction between “Animate” and “UIX.”

This compatibility supports consistent use across:

  • Website sections
  • Motion-reel frames
  • Social-media posts
  • Presentation slides
  • Client proposals
  • Print materials
  • Promotional displays
  • Physical signage

Branded Business Collateral

Marketorr demonstrated the wordmark on printed business materials.

The horizontal format allows the identity to sit clearly on narrow cards and other compact surfaces. High-contrast colour combinations give the brand flexibility without changing the logo’s construction.

These applications show how the identity can extend into:

  • Business cards
  • Presentation folders
  • Proposal covers
  • Printed communication
  • Promotional cards
  • Event materials
  • Internal documents
  • Client handover materials

The keyframe detail remains visible while the complete name stays readable.

Motion-Friendly Brand Applications

AnimateUIX needed an identity that could naturally become part of its own work.

The wordmark can support animated applications such as:

  • Logo reveals
  • Website preloaders
  • Motion-reel intros
  • Video outros
  • Social-media transitions
  • Presentation openings
  • Portfolio watermarks
  • Animated email assets
  • Application launch screens

The keyframe concept provides a logical starting point for these animations. It can appear, move, scale, or trigger the construction of the wider wordmark.

Website and Interface Compatibility

The logo’s horizontal structure is suitable for website navigation and digital interface placement.

The design avoids fine illustrative details that could disappear when reduced. Its primary recognition comes from the company name, colour contrast, and diamond-shaped keyframe marker.

This makes the identity appropriate for:

  • Desktop navigation
  • Mobile headers
  • Browser icons
  • Portfolio thumbnails
  • Animation dashboards
  • Digital marketplaces
  • Social profile covers
  • Email communication

The wordmark can also appear as a final branded frame within the Lottie, GIF, MP4, WebM, and SVG formats used by the company.

Presentation and Portfolio Use

Motion-design companies rely heavily on portfolios, proposals, showreels, and visual presentations.

The AnimateUIX identity was designed to remain visible without overpowering the animation being demonstrated. The wordmark can identify the creator while allowing the client work to remain the primary visual focus.

The typographic system also provides a foundation for organizing:

  • Project names
  • Animation categories
  • Creative concepts
  • Technical specifications
  • File formats
  • Process stages
  • Pricing information
  • Client instructions

This gives the company a consistent presentation language beyond the logo itself.

Environmental Signage

The portfolio demonstrates the wordmark on illuminated exterior signage.

The logo’s simple geometry and strong letterforms allow it to be fabricated as raised or illuminated lettering. The keyframe detail remains visible as a small contrasting diamond above the “i.”

Physical applications can include:

  • Office entrances
  • Studio walls
  • Reception areas
  • Directional signs
  • Exhibition booths
  • Event displays
  • Interior branding
  • Production spaces

This demonstrates that the identity can move beyond screens while retaining its digital-animation concept.

Connected Identity Presentation

Marketorr organized the wordmark concept, keyframe rationale, typography hierarchy, colour treatments, printed applications, and signage examples into one visual presentation.

This provides a practical reference for people applying the identity across digital and physical materials. It also helps reduce inconsistencies in typography, colour contrast, spacing, and logo placement.

The Final Outcome

The completed identity gives AnimateUIX a direct visual connection with motion design.

The diamond-shaped keyframe integrated into the lowercase “i” represents the technical process behind animation. The complete wordmark keeps the company name recognizable, while colour contrast separates “Animate” and “UIX.”

Clash Grotesk provides a consistent typography system for headlines, supporting text, and digital communication. Flexible logo treatments prepare the identity for websites, applications, animation files, presentations, printed collateral, and physical signage.

The result is a scalable brand identity for a motion-design studio serving businesses, designers, developers, agencies, and digital-product teams.
