Jr. WordPress Developer
2-4 Years of experience
Responsibility:
- Leading the planning and execution of website development projects, including scoping, task delegation, and timeline management.
- Architecting and developing custom WordPress solutions, including themes, plugins, and functionalities tailored to client specifications.
- Reviewing and Mentoring junior developers, offering guidance on complex development tasks, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Ensuring robust security measures, including data encryption, user authentication, and protection against common WordPress vulnerabilities.
- Collaborating closely with clients to define project requirements, provide technical expertise, and address client feedback and requests.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of e-commerce functionality.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Staying at the forefront of web development by researching and implementing emerging technologies and trends.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across websites and platforms.
- Meet the clientβs strict deadlines.
Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science or a similar field.
- Proven work experience of at least 2-4 years as a WordPress developer.
- Background with Agencies will be a PLUS!
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including mentoring abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of web security best practices.
- Significant understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Proven track record of successful project leadership and client interaction.
- Proven experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Proficiency in WooCommerce setup & management.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, including custom themes, plugins, and APIs.
- Experience with Google Analytics implementation & analysis.
- Familiarity with website optimization and SEO best practices.
